FULL CIRCLE
FULL CIRCLE is a perpetually looping 3D visualization of the creative process behind generating ideas, directed by Matt Richards.
“With Full Circle I wanted to explore the concept of complication vs simplicity. This fun loop showcases an extremely complicated process to get to the end goal, but visually it’s very stripped back piece, only using simple objects.” – Matt Richards
Despite being stripped back and minimalist visually, it took a lot of fine tuning to model objects and a space that allow for a fun and visually stimulating story that kept the viewer interested while not being repetitive.
Texturing was also a challenge as I wanted to create something that looked as real as it could while still retaining some fantastical elements that only 3D can provide.
